iXAPACK GLOBAL USA designs and manufactures end-of-line equipment, including cartoning, case packing, and palletizing machines, as well as loading modules. This equipment will be presented at PACK EXPO International 2024 in Booth N-5783. With a small footprint, this solution allows our clients to load their products into pre-formed cases using a tripod robot, whose grippers can be changed depending on the products being handled. This robot can also be equipped with a 5th axis, enabling it to handle a wider range of product groupings, with additional orientation of the products before they are placed in packagings. The production parameters are adjustable via the 19’’ touchscreen HMI on the module. Depending on the size of the products, the conveyors on which they arrive can also be adjusted in width.
As for the case formats, they can be varied: wrap, RSC, SRP, stackable cases, all depending on the production line in which the module is integrated. In addition to cardboard cases, the module can also load into containers such as buckets or plastic cases/trays.
Beyond packing, the ILI loading module offered by iXAPACK GLOBAL USA has another function, as it can load products onto infeed conveyors of other machines, such as flow wrappers. Additionally, to be washable with high-pressure water, the module can be equipped with an IP69K rating, with additional shielding to protect sensitive components during maintenance operations.
