Texwrap: Vertical shrink wrapping system

Texwrap's new 914BVS continuous motion vertical wrapping system now wraps upright-standing bottles, cans, and jars – directly from a filler – at speeds up to 70 packs/min, making a very secure and attractive package for store display.

With its precision print registration capability, the 914BVS can be used with printed film to eliminate the expense of secondary packaging operations along with the associated cost and labor of using "boots" or carrier trays. Printed film can cover individual bar codes and, at the same time, add graphic appeal to a package.

Texwrap vertical wrappers use a full bottom trim seal instead of a lap seal or side seal to securely enclose the product. The placement of the seal on the bottom of the package allows the use of printed film without a side seam interfering with graphics. For applications such as those where the products are damp after filling, the trim seal can be located on top of the package.

The company’s continuous motion BVS wrappers can be matched with a suitable infeed solution and shrink tunnel to fit the needs of a wide variety of applications.
