Manta Ray's (Menomonee Falls, WI) Table Top Taper(TM) can tape box widths of 3" to 2'. No outside power source is required for this taper, and it employs less than 15 moving parts.

The tape widths are 2" or 3", with a tape roll diameter of 15". Build-up on the blade is avoided by the use of an oiled felt pad that applies a film of oil onto the blade.
