Nortech Packaging, a Chicago-based automation and controls solutions provider, acquired the assets of Tishma Innovations, a single-source provider of cartoning, case packing, and specialty packaging machines.
The addition of Tishma is intended to expand Nortech’s footprint in the growing food, pharmaceutical, confection, and contract packaging markets and advances its capabilities as an integrated solutions provider capable of providing full end of line solutions.
Tishma Innovations, founded in 2004, designs and manufactures high quality, high efficiency packaging machinery and packaging systems. Their products are used worldwide in most industries including: Food, Pharma, Confections, Cosmetic, Beverage and many others. Systems range from semi-automatic, manual loading single machines, through high-speed fully integrated turn-key packaging lines. Tishma has a reputation built on quality craftsmanship and innovative designs.

Tishma Innovations will be rebranded as Tishma Technologies, Powered by Nortech. Nortech will assume all aspects of management and leadership in the new company, while retaining the engineering, assembly, and production expertise of Tishma’s former operations.
