European group acquires Canada's Wulftec

M.J. Maillis Group announced April 22 the acquisition of stretch wrapping equipment manufacturer Wulftec International Inc. (Ayer’s Cliff, Québec, Canada).

M.J. Maillis Group, Athens, Greece, is a multinational group of companies involved in the manufacturing and distribution of complete “end of the line” packaging solutions.

“This first North American acquisition will enable us to expand our position in the packaging equipment market outside Europe,” says Michael J. Maillis, chairman of the board and CEO of the Maillis Group. “Wulftec will serve as the stepping-stone into the North American market.”
