Hello, my name is Austin Egger and I'm an automation engineer here at BMG.
Here we have our demo unit that we're trying to display some of the capabilities that we have in our automation systems. We are utilizing the Beckhoff's X Planar system to move around magnetic movers holding our trays.
So basically we are just showing off the ability for avoid collision change speed, real ease of use for positioning station creation and, decision making along the way. We are also using ABB collaborative robot for this specific application. That it has a Cognix vision system attached to it that allows you it to determine what produce is going to be picked or placed, the correct orientation of the robot vacuum head there and, being able to play some on and off these movers. We also have a sealing system here on the left that will seal the tray that we fill up.
