With 48% of its attendees looking for private label and contract packaging services, this year’s HBA Global Expo & Conference, Sept. 28-30 at the Javits Center in New York City, will be a hotbed of activity for these high-interest segments within the beauty care industry.

A number of companies will exhibit their contract packaging services. Visit www.hbaexpo.com for a complete listing.

The annual show also will include a conference. Sessions will include the following:

• “Your Manufacturing Partners: Working Effectively Together.” The presenter will be Howard Baker, owner and president of Product Integrity Laboratory. The rest of the session will touch upon how to find the right partners and create strong relationships. Additional speakers will include Tara Simon, senior vice president, merchandising and supply chain, Beauty Brands Inc.; and Metta Murdaya, founder and owner, Jurara Skincare.
• “Twenty Tips on Design from Past IPDA Award Winners.” This session will be a panel discussion including Scott Oshry, vice president, branding and design, The Maesa Group; Rebecca Goswell, group creative director, HCT Packaging; and Russ Napolitano, vice president business development and brand strategy, Wallace Church.
