The ElastiTag® applicator from Minnesota Automation Products, the packaging machine division of Graphic Packaging Intl., automatically applies hangtags to virtually any necked bottle or container. The high-speed, patent-pending applicator uses a band-expanding wheel that separates each tag from the web and rotates the tag to the bottom of the wheel. The wheel discharges the tag over the neck of the bottle, and the timing screw discharges the bottle onto the conveyor. Provides dual tag roll capacity, speeds of 250-plus tags/min, and no-tool changeovers. Also runs multiple-diameter and multiple-height products.
