Packages are said to retain a better appearance with none of the creasing or deadfold associated with foil. PCF also offers puncture-resistance and enhanced metal detection. Typical applications for PCF are dry-mix packages such as cocoa and spice pouches, liquid pouches for salad dressings and shampoo and bag-in-box liners.
