The intermittent-motion, single-head capping system offers accuracy and performance through the use of servo motors using feedback-loop-control to accurately position caps and ensure highly repeatable torque during the capping process. Applied torque is set and displayed via a touchscreen, and an information interface provides a real-time applied torque data stream. The freestanding unit can be placed over an existing continuous-motion conveyor. System also offers toolless modular change parts for easy changeover.
