Lenze Americas appoints Mark Collins Director of Engineering

Collins joins the Lenze Americas business leadership team to support global inverter sales.

Lenze, a leading global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion control, and automation technology, announces the appointment of Mark Collins as Director of Engineering for Lenze Americas.

Collins has worked with Lenze for over 25 years. Most recently, he served as Manager of Power Electronics. In his new role, Collins leads the engineering department in supporting global inverter sales growth through product adaptation for the Americas’ marketplace, sustaining engineering and manufacturing support.

“Over the years, Mark has made significant contributions to the engineering department enabling Lenze to provide optimal machine engineering solutions that meet our customers’ needs,” says Chuck Edwards, President of Lenze Americas. “Mark’s proven experience and expert knowledge has helped bring Lenze to the forefront in engineering.”

In addition, Collins will join the Lenze Americas business leadership team. “Mark has proven to be an innovator and key contributor at Lenze—he’s played a valuable role in our continued growth since joining the company in 1989,” adds Edwards.

Prior to working with Lenze, Collins held positions with Textron and Cincinnati Milacron. He holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT.
