AutomationDirect: G-thread pneumatic fittings

AutomationDirect’s NITRA line of pneumatics products now offers G-thread push-to-connect fittings and flow control valves; components are made with strong thermoplastic (PBT) or nickel-plated brass bodies and stainless steel tube gripping claws and have a pre-applied O-ring to seal.

G-thread pneumatic fittings

Available in 4 to 10 mm sizes, the bodies of elbow fittings can be rotated after installation to allow for variations in piping direction. NITRA G-thread fittings are designed with a working pressure of -29.5 in. Hg to 150 psi and a working temperature of 32 to 140 deg. F; polyurethane or nylon 12 tubing is easily connected by simply inserting the tubing end into the fitting.
