FOX IV printer applicators are also designed for specific workloads. The Standard, which boasts a 16” OD label supply roll is designed for rugged 24/7 operation with high throughputs. The Midi is built with a smaller footprint and utilizes a 12” OD roll. The Mini is a popular introductory unit to automated labeling. With even a smaller footprint than the Midi, the Mini utilizes an 8” OD label supply roll.
Application methods vary for each type of machine and include the following. Dual Apply options allow for placement of two labels on adjacent sides of a box. Tamp Blow allows for accurate label placement without the pad touching the product, ideal for delicate applications. Wipe on methods are ideal for high-speed applications and round surfaces.
Other user-friendly features include a Swing Away Cylinder allowing for easy printhead access, silk-screened media paths for simple media changeovers and a 360-degree rotate able user interface.
