At EDL Packaging Engineers, a Massman Automation Company, we understand that secondary and end-of-line packaging decisions are driven by multiple factors – consumer demand, distribution requirements, cost reduction, and packaging design.  That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all packaging solution.

Each project begins by listening and understanding your product and packaging needs.  From there we tailor our standard modular equipment to design and manufacture a solution that your unique requirements. This holistic approach has made EDL the trusted choice for shrink bundling, multi-packaging and tray wrapping packaging equipment by many leading CPG and industrial manufacturers for more than 50 years.

From grains and rice, to dairy, spices and marinades – EDL has worked with food manufacturers to develop flexible equipment designed to accommodate multiple pack counts, flavors and packaging sizes.  This flexibility has translated into shrink wrapping equipment designed for large industrial and building supply products, such as roofing, window and doors, or large corrugate boxes destined for home improvement retailers.  In addition, our team of packaging experts has helped many carpet and textile manufacturers reduce labor and material costs by designing equipment that automates bagging processes. Best known for our innovative advancements in helping the pet industry create a denser pallet, EDL’s signature double tight wrap, is designed to bundle bags of pet food and litter into brick-like packs.  Today, the Double Tight Wrap benefits manufacturers of food service consumables, medical products and grains.

Our systems are designed to collate and bundle consumer and industrial products for shipment in Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) film. Our complete line of standard shrink wrapping equipment includes:

All standard packaging equipment can accommodate film width’s ranging from 16” to 144”.  Packaging enclosure type capabilities include bull’s eye, tight wrap, double tight wrap, total enclosure, total natural enclosure, banding, and tuck and fold.
