Consumers are drawn to the one-step opening concept because it’s so much more convenient than having to not only twist off a cap but also pull the ring-pull insert in the spout.  The Tetra Pak WingCap 30 offers high functionality at low cost thanks to direct injection molding technology used to form the neck. The lid is applied with induction welding inside the cap applicator using a new glueless technology enabling direct injection molding to be used for the first time for a one-step-opening closure.

WingCap 30 is a resealable screwcap with clear tamper evidence. The tamper evidence ring together with the pre-laminated hole provide two-step safety but with one-step opening functionality. The wings of the cap provide a larger gripping area and can also be used as a part of the package design. The cap is available in eight different colors and is also available in a plant-based version made from sugar cane.
