The lid is applied with induction welding inside the cap applicator using a new glueless technology enabling direct injection molding to be used for the first time for a one-step-opening closure.
WingCap 30 is a resealable screwcap with a clear tamper evidence. The tamper evidence ring together with the pre-laminated hole provide two-step safety but with one-step opening functionality--i.e., no ring-pull insert to mess with. The wings of the cap provide a larger gripping area and can also be used as a part of the package design. The cap is available in 8 different colors and is also available in a plant-based version made from sugar cane.
