APPS, Inc. introduces its R1K compact electronic tablet counter. The new machine features a flexible design that can be used as a check counter, bulk product counter, or for filling bottles or pouches.

An advanced single-lane laser counting system ensures accurate count and is ideal for smaller runs. The machine can be used manually or with a conveyor for added flexibility. A secondary feeder and 600 cu-in. hopper provide ample product capacity. Adjustable legs permit the machine to adapt to various bottle heights. Its extra large tablet chute is designed to prevent jam-ups. The machine is easy to clean with no place for stray tablets to hide. Stainless-steel construction resists corrosion and aids cleaning for fast changeover. GMP design facilitates compliance.

APPS’s tablet counter’s unique design provides the operator with a clear, unobstructed view of the product from hopper to bottle. This, coupled with a color touchscreen operator creates an effective, user-friendly environment.

Other APPS inc. products include the R8K, an eight-lane laser counting system with 1600 cu-in. hopper capacity, the R12K, a 12-lane laser counting system with 2,400 cu-in. hopper capacity and the R16K, a dual eight-lane laser counting system with 3,200 cu-in. hopper capacity.

Additional products include pneumatic bottle indexers, and the AccuSure count verification system for slat fillers. Designs are flexible and adaptable to customers’ specific needs. APPS will design equipment to meet special requirements.
