Among the very first to commercialize DSC’s two-piece steel aerosol container was Chase Products. The Broadview, IL-based firm fills its Champion brand glass cleaner in the new container as well as its Vista Cleer XP product, a professional glass cleaner that is available exclusively through Sommer & Maca Industries, a leading distributor of supplies to the glass and stone industries.
“The clean design—the fact that there is no side seam—is important, as is the strength of the can,” says Chase’s director of corporate marketing, Ron DeSimone. “But what we’re most excited about is the polymer coating. It’s so impervious to moisture and to chemicals that it virtually eliminates the risk of corrosion. We’re very impressed with the integrity of this steel container.”
