Expected to be completed this fall, the expansion will include a new 50ꯠ sq’ structure that will house a state-of-the-art bottling line.
“This capital project will upgrade the current brewery with the most modern packaging line, enabling Molson to effectively compete against the best breweries in the world,” said Dan O’Neill, president and CEO, in a press release on Molson’s Web site.
Responsibility for the turnkey line goes to Krones (Franklin, WI). The line will be rated at 1ꯠ bottles/min, paced by a Krones filler. According to Krones, the line will also include two Kettner depalletizers, a bottle washer, inspection equipment, pasteurizer, a three-station Multimatic labeler, a Contipac top-loading bottle packer, a Variopac end loader from Variopac, and a PalBloc palletizer. —JB
