(Springfield, MO), the paperboard display carton holds 20 foil-laminate combo packs. The 5¼”x1¾”packets are attached as perforated pairs, one containing 1.12 oz of peanut butter, the other 1 oz of jam. Flavors are strawberry and grape, with a corresponding display carton for each. The carton design plays off the packs. “The challenge was to convey very clearly what the product was and how consumers would use it,” explains PPI product manager Leslie Boettcher. “The graphics are ‘universal,’ eye-appealing for both kids and adults.” Shipped in bulk for about the past three years, the carton adapts the product to retail, according to Boettcher.
