Design extends the life of beverages and the potency of the additives by keeping them separate until ready for consumption. Caps can be designed to standard neck finishes for PET and HDPE bottles. Consumers twist the cap of the 2-piece, resealable closure, to cut open a small container within the closure, allowing the additive to disperse into the beverage in the bottle.
