(Columbus, OH) is the first of its size for juices and nectars. Jugos is also introducing juices and nectars in 275-mL and 1.1-L aseptic cartons. The 1.1-L, like the 2-L size, features the easy opening/ reclosing combiTop® fitment. Jugos is now operating four Combibloc packaging lines at its Tepotzotlan plant.

"We chose Combibloc because it offers the larger-size aseptic cartons, the best reclosable feature on the market, and production flexibility that is unrivaled," says Roberto AlbarrSigman, Jugos president. The company is marketing the two smaller sizes as bonus packs because they hold about 10% more juice at the same price as competitive aseptic packs on the market. The 2-L size is marketed to foodservice accounts as well as at retail.
