ACTIPH Water Tips Cap to Active Lifestyles, Proposed Regulations

The U.K.’s ACTIPH Water brand differentiates itself among a sea of hydrating competitors with an electrolyte- and mineral-rich formula and ionization process. The tethered closure is robust for athletes, and meets upcoming regulations.

In addition to its visible safety, Rocket offers a “no-dust,” double wall lid design that protects the drinking area from external contaminants.

As the first alkaline ionized bottled water in Europe, the U.K.’s ACTIPH Water brand differentiates itself among a sea of hydrating competitors with an electrolyte- and mineral-rich formula and ionization process that optimizes the water for athletes and active lifestyles. Starting with Shropshire spring water, ACTIPH Water applies a process of purification, ionization, and the addition of electrolytes achieving a pH level of 9.0 or higher. This optimizes the hydration process for athletes and on-the-go consumers with busy lifestyles; all of whom have a constant need to hydrate, and many of whom don’t get the recommended amount of water in a day.

This active consumer led Jamie Douglas-Hamilton, founder of ACTIPH Water, to consider an often-neglected element of a water bottle: the cap and closure. He selected Aptar’s new Rocket closure as the right one for his application and his athletic and active consumer base. Aptar says that the Rocket closure redefines beverage packaging safety standards by offering a unique, highly visible, and non-detachable tamper evidence system to the market.Aptar says that the Rocket closure redefines beverage packaging safety standards by offering a unique, highly visible, and non-detachable tamper evidence system to the market.
