Canduro 2 is Robatech's new PUR adhesive melter for 2/2.5 kg candles. It was specifically developed for melt-on-demand applications, is particularly maintenance-efficient, and is equipped with modern RCS electronics. Canduro 2 replaces the previous model RobaPUR 2 MOD and covers a wide range of applications with its modular design.
The new Canduro 2 adhesive melter offers many possible applications: as a premelter for pot filling, as a PUR adhesive melter for bead and dot application, continuous or intermit-tent coating application, as well as for applications with hand applicators or robots. Melt-on-demand technology (MOD) conserves the adhesive, as only as much as is currently needed is melted. The tank version is available for continuous adhesive consumption. Depending on the MOD melting unit, the melt rate is 5 or 8 kg/h. There are also process-specific configurations for edge banding and book spine gluing.
Comfortable PUR adhesive application
In the development of Canduro 2, particular emphasis was placed on intuitive operation and low maintenance requirements. All relevant components are easily accessible and simple to clean. The machine is operated via the host machine, a touch display, or mobile devices. Robatech even offers an application-specific software for edge banding.
