Tekni-Plex, Inc. acquired the self-adhesive tape substrate business of Alfatherm SpA, Venegono Superiore (VA), Italy. The acquisition will be integrated into the company’s Tekni-Films Gallazzi operation located nearby in Gallarate, Italy.
“The acquisition will help support Tekni-Films’s growing tape substrate business. We will be able to better serve converters across Europe who produce self-adhesive tapes for a wide variety of packaging applications,” says Joseph Horn, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Tekni-Films.
