Hello, I'm Brian Kapcar with Rotex Group. We are based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, and behind me here I have our Ultrex machine. This is a screener. Inside, we have two different levels for screening particles. It could be anything that is a bulk solid, from your pet food to salt, sugar, raw ingredients, etc. I'll open up this machine right now and show you the inside. Material comes at the inlet on this end over here. And inside here, you're gonna see that there's two different levels of separations. So what this one in particular will show is going to be an overs and a fines removal. There's quick and easy access to the inside and single operator changes.

Shown here is a perforated plate. We have any sign of screen media we can use from metal proof plates. So on the bottom deck here, we have a fine mesh for the fines removal. This unit in particular is made fully sanitary, so this would be for food type applications, anything, like I said, from pet foods and frozen foods, etc. all the way down to something like a dairy powder. Easy access to clean out the machine. You can have the hinge discharge chute to be able to get into here.

This shows you all the different discharge from the overs to the product to the fines. And then you also have access to the top of the machine to be able to open here through the inspection ports. All of the seals inside the machine are mechanically held in place, so fully removable, cleanable, again, helping with the sanitary purpose. In general, the machine operates with a unique motion, different from any other machines you would see in a separation space. It's a gyratory reciprocating motion, and that's what sort of sets us apart from other screeners. The gyratory motion is a circular motion at the inlet portion. It allows material to spread across the width of the surface, naturally stratifies the particles even before they hit the screen media.

And then when you get to the discharge end of the unit, that's where there's reciprocal motion or linear motion all within the same plane. What occurs there is particles that are around the same size of the openings in the screen media have a greater chance to fall through, so there's greater screen retention time as we refer to it. And there you have it. That's the Ultrex from Rotex Group.
