Based in the West Yorkshire town of Batley, Fox’s Biscuits has been working in partnership with HayssenSandiacre on the Caffe project to assist with a new product launch. Their recently purchased Rose Foregrove Merlin HSE flow wrapper is currently packing Thins and Snaps in trays through a hand-fed line. Chris Rogers, Project Engineer at Fox’s Biscuits in Batley, explains why the Merlin HSE was selected.
“Partnering with Rose Foregrove for this project could not have gone more smoothly. The installation was carried out professionally, efficiently, and on time. HayssenSandiacre promised us a machine on a short lead time. This was essential to enable us to meet consumer demand and the launch of our new product.”
Rogers adds that having the opportunity to utilize HayssenSandiacre’s well-equipped technology center was a key factor in deciding on pack specification. “HayssenSandiacre assisted with all initial product and packaging trials, ensuring a high seal integrity,” says Rogers.
