A monobloc system
The transfer system is based on a starwheel with variable pitch, which automatically compensates for the difference in pitch between the dispensing and filling functions. Thanks to this system the two machines become one.
More ergonomic, this solution allows a single operator to control the entire line.
For all kind of products, sizes and production speeds
Directly adaptable to containers from 60 ml to 2,000 ml and after study for packs up to 5,000 ml, this system addresses both food and non-food markets. It can be associated with a positioning module for asymmetrical containers. The system is compatible with line speeds ranging from 1,500 to 40,000 bottles per hour.
The distribution unit can be completed with neck trimming, rinsing or blowing units, to clean or decontaminate containers before filling.
The main benefits of positive starwheel transfer:
• The direct coupling of the two units eliminates the need for conveyors, allowing for more compact lines. Floor space is significantly reduced.
• Energy consumption is reduced by eliminating the vacuum conveyors needed in the case of light or unstable containers. Savings are approximately 1 kW per meter of conveyor.
• Positive grid throughout the line avoids any damage to the containers. Bottles are continually kept in position preventing scratches that can occur during the conveying cycle.
• Thanks to quick tool-free systems, format changeovers can be carried out as a background task when emptying or cleaning the filling unit.
