U.S. Bottlers Machinery Company: Pusher/filler

U.S Bottlers' (Charlotte, NC) pickle pusher/syruper is a monobloc pusher/filler that first presses fruits/vegetables fully into their containers, then indexes the containers to a vacuum filler that supplies the juice or syrup.

Currently in use in pickle packaging, the machine accommodates virtually any product in glass, metal or plastic containers. It uses 14 heads on the pusher and 42 valves on the filler to operate at speeds to 350 cpm. Changeover is accomplished without tools in less than 10 min.
