The system includes a reciprocating vacuum denester to pick clamshells, and a continuous motion conveyor system, which can transport the clamshells under labelers (customer- or GPI-supplied), and will apply one label to the top or bottom of the clamshell. The labeled trays are transported to the renester which accumulates the trays into a stack on a horizontal outfeed.
Quick change or universal magazines are available for the denester to reduce changeover time between tray sizes.
