Krones announces that Michael Andersen will join the company’s Executive Board as finance chief. Michael Andersen possesses many years of experience in the packaging industry. He is currently the CFO of GEA Heat Exchangers and, as such, the member of the management board responsible for the areas of Finance, IT, and Purchasing.
In March of this year, Krones, the world’s leading manufacturer of beverage filling and packaging technology and a member of Germany’s MDAX stock index, reported that changes were afoot within its Executive Board. At the time, due to an agreement with the incoming CFO’s current employer, Krones was not at liberty to disclose the name of the CFO Christoph Klenk successor, Andersen, who had been appointed to take over the helm as Chairman of the Executive Board effective January 1, 2016.
