Pinch points associated with the mechanism itself are eliminated, and pinch points associated with the adjacent guide rails are also avoided.
Sanitation and cleanability of the mechanism are easily accomplished. The adjacent rails and the product end-stop are removable, and the stainless steel cover over the assembly is detachable for access to the removable air cylinder and UHMW slide guides for cleaning.
The pusher on the transfer can be custom designed for various product sizes, weights and rates, as well as for the particular environment associated with the application. Construction can be stainless steel or painted carbon steel, with standard duty components or sanitary wash-down components as required by the application.
