The system is designed for COP or CIP for cleaning to a microbiological level. All nonproduct areas are designed to eliminate debris build-up and potential bacterial reservoirs; product contact areas are corrosion-resistant, nontoxic, and nonabsorbent. Fully customizable for easy integration into production lines, the checkweigher delivers accuracies for up to 13 lb for reduced product giveaway. The system can also be integrated with a Mettler-Toledo Safeline metal detector. A 15-in. color touchscreen controller makes product setup and changeover fast and simple, and the easy-clean snap-out conveyors and quick-disconnect servomotors ease belt changeovers, cleaning, and maintenance.
