Pack Expo Attendees To Select Winning Packages

Attendees at the Oct. 29-Nov. 2 Pack Expo International 2006 show in Chicago will be invited to vote for the package they feel is the most innovative among those included in the Pack Expo Selects display within the Showcase of Packaging Innovations™.

According to the show’s producer, Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (www.pmmi.org), attendees will select their choice for the most innovative and interesting package on display using their My PACK EXPO™ attendee portal. The results of the voting will be published after the show.

Each package featured in the Pack Expo Selects display and awards program will identify the Pack Expo exhibitors that played roles in its development, design, converting, or production.

“The goal of the program is to highlight the partnerships that occur with the unveiling of any new packaging concept,” says Charles D. Yuska, PMMI’s president. “The final package is what most consumers will remember, but the industry will understand and value both the final package and the teamwork it takes to deliver any packaging concept to market.”
