Rovema North America, a subsidiary of Rovema GmbH, which designs and supplies packaging machinery for the food industry, has hired Paul Wilson as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this role, Mr. Wilson will work with a dedicated sales and marketing team to broaden and enhance the scope of the Rovema brand in North America, as he grows its sales and market share within the packaging sector.
Prior to joining Rovema, Wilson was sales director at packaging machinery manufacturer R.A. Jones & Co., where he was responsible for direct global account coverage to a number of large corporations. Prior to that, he held high-level sales positions with Cloud LLC, a contract packager and manufacturer, and with Liqui-Box Corporation, which produces bags, fitments, and filling machinery.
Mr. Wilson received a B.S. from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and an M.B.A. from Xavier University. “Paul is a talented sales executive with extensive experience in the packaging machinery industry,” says John Panaseny, CEO of Rovema North America. “His deep understanding of customer needs as they relate to our company’s advanced dosing, vertical form-fill-seal pouching, cartoning, and final packaging, and our fully integrated turnkey systems, will be a true asset to Rovema’s efforts in North America, and we are very pleased to welcome him to the team.”
