In the Bosch Packaging (Bridgman, MI) PMC 4201 vf/f/s system, servomotor controls have replaced the typical vertical shafts and eccentric control.

Changes in bag height, width and depth can be made from the central control, even when bag cross section is involved, says company. Changeover is less than 5 to 10 min. Servomotors are linked and synchronized through Windows™ NT programs. Especially suitable for packaging dry foods.
