CCL Tube, Inc., a div. of CCL Industries, invested more than $7 million in new silk-screen tube-printing machinery.

Fanuc Robotics America, Inc. introduced the Certified Education Robot Training (CERT) program, a new certification available to high schools, community colleges, and universities. The program certifies instructors at educational institutions to train their
students to program Fanuc robots.

Toray Plastics (America), Inc., played a leading role in Toray Industries, Inc.’s decision to grow its packaging film business in Europe. Toray Industries, Inc., headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, established Toray Films Europe S.A.S., in Rhone-Alpes, France, for the production of Torayfan biaxially oriented PP, high-barrier metallized film.
