According to Evanesce Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Douglas Horne, these recent additions embody the company’s continued mission to disrupt the foodservice industry with its advanced plant-based single-use products.

McEuen brings his industry expertise to further increase the distribution network across the United States and expand into the global foodservice, entertainment, and hospitality markets.
Before joining Evanesce, McEuen was vice president of sales for a foodservice product-focused company for over 10 years, managing national and corporate accounts. He was responsible for developing and launching the first-ever biodegradable foam line and most recently the launch of a marine biodegradable straw line in North America. In addition to McEuen’s previous role, he has over 24 years of entrepreneurial success spanning foodservice, retail, grocery, and e-commerce.

Peter Davies
Davies is also the Founder and CEO of an eco-packaging company based in the UK called BioPaxium Technologies. BioPaxium specializes in the design of eco-packaging solutions and MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) that are 100% compostable. Davies joins Evanesce with an engineering background, over 20 years of R&D experience, and is considered one of Europe’s experts in eco-packaging, based on wet/dry molded fiber and biopolymer solutions.
“I believe Evanesce and BioPaxium Technologies share the same vision of making a difference to our planet, and that the synergies of setting up our European operations will give us a global reach with corporate clients to deliver on the mission of eliminating traditional plastics for more eco-alternatives,” says Davies. “Our joint efforts will significantly accelerate the development of the starch/fiber division of Evanesce with product formulations that will be available in 2023.”
