Visitors saw Sacmi’s ready-to-market solutions for the 26/22 mm, 25/22 mm, and 29/25 mm necks, which can cut neck and cap plastic consumption by 30% or more. The company has also ensured its preform injection presses are capable of processing up to 50% PET in recycled flake form, with this figure set to rise to 75% with the latest developments. Sacmi's response is not just technological but also customer-focused, providing complete solutions for producers to tackle the transition effectively.

Solutions exhibited included the Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate range of machines and plants for processing and packaging chocolate and other food/non-food products. At the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate stand, visitors took ‘experiential tours’ that focused on specific aspects of the industry: chocolate processing and molding, chocolate packaging, packaging for other industries.
