Private-label, contracted services showcased at HBA Expo

For buyers and sellers of cosmetics and health and beauty products, HBA Global Expo provides a convenient way to exchange ideas face-to-face with providers of contract packaging and manufacturing services that specialize in these product categories.

The 16th annual HBA trade show and educational conference will take place Sept. 9-11, 2008, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY. This year’s event looks to build on 2007 figures of 739 exhibitors and educational partners representing more than 80 countries. Last year’s show spanned more than 225,000 sq ft of exhibit space, and about 17,000 beauty industry professionals attended.

On the show floor, exhibitors will showcase a full spectrum of products and services for the beauty industry, including private label, contract manufacturing, prestige and mass-mark packaging components, delivery systems, design houses, and raw material and ingredient suppliers. The suppliers are those working in natural and organic, analytical and testing devices, biotechnology processes, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, nutricosmetics, and senso-cosmetics.

In addition, the third annual International HBA Safety, Regulatory, and Certification Summit will take place Sept. 10.

The New Product Innovation Showcase will highlight this year’s hottest new-product announcements, and the exhibitor Presentation Theater will offer a full program of ready-to-implement solutions.

HBA Global Expo is divided into three components that span the major health and beauty industry sectors: marketing, technical, and naturals. Each sector will offer its own dedicated conference program and exhibits on the show floor.
