Atofina Petrochemicals Inc: New propylene polymer

Atofina Petrochemicals (Houston, TX) has released its syndiotactic propylene polymer family named Finaplas® propylene polymers. Polymers are stereospecific and have different molecular configuration called syndiotactic, which produces a unique set of physical properties.

Finaplas have high clarity and gloss, a melting point of 128? C, and low level of extractables; and they are softer than conventional isotactic polypropylene, company says.
