REPAK® (suitable for packing CDs) and Flip-Pak (suitable for packing DVDs) solutions were developed under the company’s greenchoice™ Environmental Solutions program for sustainable packaging. New disc packaging options reduce freight costs, material costs, and waste, creating more efficiency in the package’s lifecycle. Both options are made from third-party-certified, renewable virgin paperboard or recycled board. Packaging is also manufactured with renewable inks and coatings. Both designs eliminate the plastic hub used in other CD/DVD packaging models, replacing it with a recessed cavity or a slide-out design, respectively.
