Stouffer's freezer icon, the red box line of entrees, is about to make some cook rather famous. Nestlé USA's Food Group, Solon, OH, has begun to advertise a "real home cooking" contest, whose grand prize winner will have his or her name and picture right on the package that contains the entree "inspired" by the winning recipe.

A thermoformed dual-compartment polystyrene container is being used by Kraft Foods for its new Cottage Doubles(TM) product. Available in refrigerated sections of supermarkets and Wal-Mart stores since June, Doubles are sold nationwide in three 5.5-oz varieties.
