The proprietary coextrusion technology results in a bone-in bag that uses no patches or additional lamination layer. This eliminates the job of orienting the cut of meat to the patch or lamination. The toughness reduces leaker rates by as much as 15%, and eliminates post-shipping leakers, company says. Product also offers oxygen- and moisture-barrier protection, extending the shelf life of meat products.
