Hall of fame welcomes three

The Packaging Education Forum has announced the election of three distinguished packaging professionals to its Packaging Hall of Fame. The 1997 class includes Donald Betando, retired chair of the San Jose State packaging program; Lejo Brana, director of packaging at Riviana Foods, Inc.; and Dr.

Robert Testin, chair of the Clemson packaging program. The induction ceremony will be held during the Packaging Leader of the Year Packaging Education Benefit Banquet, October 30, in Chicago. At the banquet, HersheyFoods will be honored as the 1997 Packaging Leader of the Year, and its president, Joseph Viviano, will accept the award and make the keynote address. Phone 703/318-8975.
