Soda Redesigns Pop on the Scene in 2023

Pepsi, Fanta, and 7Up are all engaging in a rush of brand facelifts with modernized designs and an emphasis on digital marketing.

Transcript

As the pandemic disruption fades and a “new normal” sets in, the world’s sodas are reinventing via a carbonated wave of fresh designs reflecting a new consumer landscape.

Pepsi was the biggest player and longest awaited change of the bunch. Its new design is 14 years in the making, with the brand name now front and center and the classic globe still intact,  keeping the brand’s visual heritage but bringing a contemporary edge that fits in stores and the digital world.

Coca-Cola’s Fanta also shook up its brand identity, encouraging playfulness with bold visuals and a unified global brand design.

Gone is the leafy orange behind the Fanta logo. Instead, identifiable colors and cartoonish fruit icons signify each flavor.

And lastly, 7Up has a new get-up, featuring its signature green but with extra citrus tones and high contrast.

Look for it on select 7Up products in several global regions in March.
