Multivac’s new Serve Box packaging consists of a table-ready rigid plastic tray, sealed with a transparent plastic dome lid for optimal product visibility.

Suited for products like sliced cheeses and luncheon meats. Using special die sets, packagers thermoform the Serve Box on a Multivac R530 from materials of their own choosing. The reclosable tray may be custom-sized and formed to suit the dimensions of the product, while also holding it in place. Package may also be gas flushed for MAP applications to extend shelf life. Interior bottom surface of tray is formed in wafer pattern to promote circulation of inert gas around the product.
