Recognized internationally as the most comprehensive packaging and processing machinery and materials tradeshow in Latin America, ExpoPack Mexico returns to Centro Banamex in Mexico City June 23-26.
More than 900 exhibitors from 25 countries will showcase the latest developments in packaging machinery, materials, components, and containers, providing proven solutions for processing, packaging, storing, and distributing products. As for attendees, last year’s show drew more than 32,000 qualified attendees and exhibitor personnel. They came from 39 countries, and more than 39% of them were CEOs and key decision makers.
Co-located with ExpoPack Mexico 2009 will be Procesa, the food and beverage processing machinery and equipment show. Procesa 2008 featured 411 companies displaying the newest developments in processing machinery and technology. State-of-the-art equipment in beverage, dairy, meat/poultry/seafood, fruit/vegetable, and the frozen and preserved food industries—it’s all on display at Procesa.
Last year marked the sixth consecutive year of growth for investments in packaging machinery in Mexico, according to market research commissioned by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute. PMMI organizes and produces ExpoPack Mexico. “Foreign machinery suppliers, carefully monitoring opportunities in the market, have closed sales not only with local companies, but also with multinationals that have a manufacturing presence in Mexico,” says PMMI president Chuck Yuska.
