Expo Pack Mexico 2004

Now in its 19th year, Expo Pack Mexico has an international recognition that has made it a perfect vehicle for visitors seeking packaging machinery and materials solutions.

Running June 22 through June 25 at the Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City is Expo Pack Mexico 2004. Attendees include key decision makers from all nations in Latin America. More than 28ꯠ visitors are expected from 17 countries.

Expo Pack Mexico 2004 attendees represent food, dairy, pharmaceutical, graphic arts, cosmetics, and other industries. As for exhibitors, they’ll number more than 700 and are expected to occupy more than 30ꯠ square meters (323ꯠ sq’) of exhibit area. At last year’s Expo Pack Mexico, 56% of exhibiting companies presented new products or launched new technological innovations.

Co-located at the show will be Procesa, the food and beverage processing machinery and equipment show for Mexican end-users. Exhibitors will display equipment for the fruit and vegetable, beverage, dairy, meat/poultry, seafood, frozen, and preserved-foods segments.

Rounding out the show will be the Conference for Expo Pack 2004 at the Hotel Nikko from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The topic for June 22 is Food industry regulations. It’s followed on June 23 by Logistics and distribution of products. Finally, June 24 brings Adhesives and their application in flexible laminations; Innovations and trends in packaging; and Merchandising: Key factors to conquer consumers.

Expo Pack Mexico and Procesa are organized and produced by Oprex S.A. de C.V. and the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute. Featured once again will be the PMMI Pavilion.

Show hours are 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday. For exhibitor listings and registration information, see www.packexpo.org.
