Balluff Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Balluff GmbH, launches its latest, cost-effective photoelectric sensors—the BOS R072K Optical Senor Entry Line. The new optical sensor offering features a streamlined design that easily and seamlessly integrates into existing operations. Sensor functionalities include retroreflective, through-beam, diffuse, and background suppression.

The BOS R072K Optical Sensor Entry Line is versatile enough to accommodate a broad range of variants and operating principles. Variants include red light and infrared; connectors, cables, and pigtails; and optional potentiometers and light on/dark on switches. This flexibility allows for sensor customization across multiple system setups and integrations.

Standardized mounting hole distance on the sensors makes installation easy. Versatile connection options provide flexibility for different applications or environments. A compact IP67 housing offers protection from potential debris, moisture or contaminants. The illuminated 360° LED indicator visually relays the sensor status to operators. Multi-piece sensor packaging consolidates units for more convenience and less waste. Balluff’s BOS R072K Entry Line delivers customers the same reliable quality and at a lower cost.
